CONGLP1 – Domestic Changover NG To Core Gas Safety LPG

By completing the CONGLP1 gas course you will be certified to work on domestic LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) fueled installations and appliances. Some of the areas covered on this course include:

  • Characteristics of Liquefied Petroleum Gas
  • Cylinder Locations, Safety Requirements and Sizing for Single Supply
  • LPG Supply Pressures – Operation of and Positioning of Emergency Isolation
  • Flow Controls and Valves
  • Gas Emergency Actions and Procedures
  • Test for Soundness
  • Installation of Pipework and Fittings – Related to LPG

Prerequisites: Any of CCN1 COCN1 CCCN1 CCLNG1 CESP1

PD – Liquid Petroleum Gas In Permanent Dwellings.

This assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in liquefied petroleum gas in both domestic and commercial permanent dwellings by practical and theory assessment.

RPH – Liquid Petroleum Gas In Residential Park Homes.

This assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in liquefied petroleum gas competencies for residential park homes by practical and theory assessment.

LAV – Liquid Petroleum Gas In Leisure Accommodation Vehicles.

This assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in liquefied petroleum gas competencies for Leisure vehicles by practical and theory assessment.

HTRLP2

This course is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in the work of install, exchange, disconnect, service, repair, breakdown and commission of closed flued liquefied petroleum gas fires by practical knowledge and theory assessment.

Appliances covered include closed flued gas fires (radiant/convector) across the “Widney Leisure” range of gas fires.
